Its an old Victorian Type Hotel but you get what you pay for,Yes there could be a few improvements here and there with the Structure but what suits some dosen't suit others. The price was right so there you go. Would we go again yes. โ
โWe had a lovely stay at Alltavona! We loved our sea view room and enjoyed sitting in the chairs with the window open, getting a fresh breeze and watching the boats sailing by. The ladies who helped us were very sweet.โ
โThe hospitality was wonderful and the manager even played chess with our son. He was very engaging and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and cozily decorated. Our son was fine on the pull out couch. โ

Immaculately presented accommodation, helpful staff and lovely food. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quirkiness of the woods, friendly chickens, peacocks and alpacas make this a place I will re-visit.โ
โthe view was astonishing. worth a one night stay. but the manager wasn't very friendly. didn't even inform when is the breakfast time or check out time etc when check-in. we asked for blanket and sheet for the sofa bed, but he unnecessarily said since we are two people staying, they didn't make the sofa bed. and reluctantly said they would send the blanket implying only blanket can be provided. but sheet and the blanket came, but i don't understand why they were reluctant to supply these cause...
โThe Hotel is great. There are only stairs. The vieuw on the Loch is fantastic. The staff are very nice and helpfull. You can have breakfast and dinner. โ
โStaff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!โ
โWe had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep.
