โThe venue is up a gradual slope, being around a 10 minute walk from the town centre however the view of the harbour during the walk is beautiful. Being close to the pulpit hill viewpoint makes a nice trip being only a couple minutes walk from the venue.
Carolyn was very welcoming and seeing me as a female sole traveler, made me feel very safe and gave me suggestions for the best places to visit.

โThe hospitality was wonderful and the manager even played chess with our son. He was very engaging and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and cozily decorated. Our son was fine on the pull out couch. โ
โthe view was astonishing. worth a one night stay. but the manager wasn't very friendly. didn't even inform when is the breakfast time or check out time etc when check-in. we asked for blanket and sheet for the sofa bed, but he unnecessarily said since we are two people staying, they didn't make the sofa bed. and reluctantly said they would send the blanket implying only blanket can be provided. but sheet and the blanket came, but i don't understand why they were reluctant to supply these cause...
โThis hotel struck me as an old-time resort hotel, something out of a movie! The rooms were gorgeous. There was a pool (which we did not use). There were several dining options, a beautiful reception and bar area, and wonderful views of the water from the lobby and from our room.โ
โOur trip to Oban was for a family funeral so we were focused on that and we were lucky enough to get a parking space in the small carpark. The inside of the hotel was slightly tired as itโs an older hotel but it was very clean.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very well organised, the young waiter was nice and smiley. Cappuccino was brilliant ๐โ
โe real gem in Oban- comfortable homey feel, great staff, and a breakfast that should not be missed! Also has an impressive Spa but I did not use it. โ
โStaff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!โ
โVery nice house, very clean and so warm and confortable with everything you need in a house. The place is close to a very nice beach with a very nice view on the Loch.
