โBook this motel for a overnight trip to Lancaster. I booked it based on the inexpensive price and the really good reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised on how cute and quaint it was. The people at the front were very friendly and our room is ready before check in time. it is like a staple of motels back in time. The doors to the room have actual keys and I just thought it was the cutest room with quilts on the bed and real cute Amish touches. There was also a nice front porch with rocking...
โAn overall great and unique experience. We spent two nights in the Mail Car, which was very clean and seemed to have been recently renovated. It even had central air, which was nice. My daughter loved her Murphy bed, โgiant tvโ, and her own bathroom. Almost as much as my wife and I enjoyed having a bedroom and bathroom of our own. The on-site petting zoo was a big hit. So was the model train museum right next door. We only ate at the restaurant once but the food and service were both very good....
โLoved this property and the friendliness of the staff. Information listing freely provided was awesome. The room was spacious and very clean. Perfect for longer stays then our one night.
A little constructive criticism, by no means would keep us from coming again.
Toaster needs replacing. Feather pillows did not contribute to a good nights sleep. (Allergies). Would have liked to go swimming, but the Indoor pool room was so hot we couldnโt breathe. โ
