"The hotel was overall a good experience - the staff members were nice and polite, breakfast was better than what I have anticipated, and the suite we took was spacious and clean. few things I would want others to know, not as a negatives necessarily, but more as "for your information".
1. the pool and hot tub area was really poorly maintained - the water did not look and feel clean in the pool, the floor of both the pool and the hot tub was broken/had cracks, and the area itself did not look good overall (paint chipping, broken things, dirty-ish areas)
2. the breakfast and specifically the omelet bar was good - but they only had 1 guy taking care of it, so in one morning we waited in line for more than 20 minutes to get our omelet made. at some point when the line was too big to when people lined up outside the breakfast area - they decided to bring in another guy and the line started moving quicker.
3. we came there to celebrate a birthday, and I even noted that in the reservation details. but, we did not get any complimentary stuff (I don't want to sound like a Karen, but how nice would it be to get a letter or a chocolate bar, or god forbid a small bottle of cheap wine? we did get a voucher for complimentary drinks at the bar, but I think they gave it all around and that it wasn't a birthday related thing, because we got no word from the stuff that it is for the birthday.
good value for money overall, but not sure we will re-book there."
