Nice all round

Greeted by staff in the bar, who were really nice. The room was of a good size, clean and a good sized bathroom.

All good here, check in was easy and they're quiet flexible. If your rooms ready, you can go in. Our tea and coffee weren't replaced on our 2nd night, but it wasnt the end of the world!! Would book again

The room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable apart from the pillows they was a bit too hard other then that the stay was really good the staff at the bar was very helpful when ordering drinks they even made us one that wasn’t on the menu

Good size room with seating area. Good room view and very convenient for town centre and amenities. Advery indicates parking at hotel but it's only street parking. Very small bathroom but adequate. Windows all locked shut so no fresh air or air conditioning.

Great

Stayed for one night with 2 friends, in a triple room. The room was spacious and very clean , and the bed was comfortable. Hairdryer, iron and board were provided and the bathroom was clean with a large walk-in shower and toiletries. It's in a good location for the Marine Lake, bars , restaurants and shops. The rooms are above the bar, with a separate entrance, accessed by a steep flight of stairs. We really enjoyed our stay, and 10 % off at the bar was a bonus !

A great stay!

We stayed at Sinclair’s for 2 nights in mid-November. Check in was swift and professional, great service from Ethan. We booked the ‘cosy double’ and it did what it said on the tin. We returned to the room on Saturday after being out for the morning to find the room had been cleaned, a pleasant surprise! We also left some wine chilling in the sink (as you do!) and were pleased to see it had been put in to an ice bucket for us. Lovely touch! Highly recommend both the rooms and the bar. Lovely couple of nights.

Nice and clean, everything you needed including a fan (it was very hot) shampoo and conditioner were really good. Most hotel shampoo’s make my hair dry. The ones provided didn’t do that.

I suppose one asks to ask the question of what you expect for £65 for the night, the room itself was decorated nicely, unfortunately though, because they have used the cheapest material and furnishings possible it just looks like a bit used, the curtains are half hanging off due to clips on runner being broke, the cheap IKEA wardrobe had a split front, the matching table had a bent leg, the carpets were dirty and smelly, there were gaps where they couldn't be bothered to tile in the bathroom.... Apart from a Peaky Blinder photo on canvas, certainly not the sophisticated 1920's hotel as described, but again, for £65, what do you expect, I just see a missed opportunity to do something really nice!
