“Was ok. Peaceful location but huge gravel car park directly in front of ground floor rooms was noisy in morning and evening.
Stale smell inside the hotel in general. Staff were overly “formal / professional” - felt almost awkward at times and didnt feel friendly. Hot breakfast for £25 not good value, continental breakfast at £17 also not good value (yoghurt, granola, canned fruit and watermelon).
Good bedding, comfortable beds, but at this price I would not return.”
“The hospitality and service were excellent! Rooms were quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed the FANTASTIC breakfast they offered; in addition had two meals in The Sprig restaurant which were equally very good!”
