"Simple check in process, in a lovely lobby with a great wee bar and breakfast area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, well equipped, clean, and most importantly the shower was top notch. Honestly, difficult to fault especially given the location. We parked in the multi storey, which is about a 5 minute easy walk away. The dog charge, which was £20 per dog per stay stung a little for our one day stay, but the free dog treats and towels were a great touch. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "

"This was our 4th Premier Inn we stayed at and all other 3 were great. This one was unfortunately not. Rooms were clean, but were older and not in great shape. Tables were broken, marks on walls, etc. Totally fine for the one night we stayed, but would not want to stay for numerous nights. Also couldn’t use the reataurant for Supper. Even though there were only about 10 people in the entire place and 90% of tables free, they told us they could not accommodate us. Didn’t really make sense, but again, not a big deal."

"A lovely hotel in a perfect setting by the river. My only quibble is that one morning at breakfast two staff members had a disparaging conversation about a colleague within earshot of guests. Bar prices were a bit on the high side but other than that The Palace was terrific."

"The breakfast menu was very good with plenty of choice. The bar carried an extensive list of whisky & gin."

"A beautiful building but could do with a refresh on the inside. The sitting rooms were cozy and welcoming but the sofas really needed a clean. Our room was quite dusty, the curtain pelmet had half fallen down and the windows hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Took the shine off what was going to be the highlight hotel of our Scottish road trip, as it was the most expensive by far. Because of that, it fell short. "

"This was a large apartment, nice for an overnight stop before flying out of Inverness. Easy check in via email with the apartment code. It was clean and well outfitted. We did experience the smell of fuel - likely from the boiler inside the unit - but the staff was very quick to respond and send a staff member out to assist. Good spot for an overnight for our family of 4, with plenty of space to spread out."

"This hotel is very convenient to many locations. Pubs, gardens, walking trails. Older but very comfortable amenities. "
