A small family owned hotel in a good location, very close to the tube for easy access to the city. Lots of restaurants and pubs close by walking distance. There is no lift so if you are on the upper floor it can be a hike but doable. The structure was built roughly 220 years ago and they have done a great job upgrading and maintaining it. Breakfast was good and convenient.

We thoroughly enjoy our stay at The George! It's a quaint hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff. The area around the hotel was clean, quiet and walkable, We felt safe and enjoyed the convenience of the nearby Russell Tube Station as well! My only "negative" comment was that we were missing hand towels and small wash rags. We aren't sure if those are normally provided by this locatiion, but we did ask and they only located one hand towel. BUT, again they were very nice and I would highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay in London!

This “boutique hotel” does not have air conditioning (AC) or even a decent fan. It was very hot during this time of year and the sleeping experience was not good. There was a tiny desk fan on the table that did not do the job. The “suite” is very small and the staff had an attitude when approached with questions. Breakfast was average. Would not recommend.

Property is nice and close to Kings Cross. Its an old building so theres no elevator and the shower gets everything wet in the bathroom. Staff is friendly and the beds were comfortable.

This spot is perfect for a solo traveler. It is close to Kings Cross and in the most charming area of London. It does take a bit to get anywhere in the main part of London but staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Very helpful friendly staff. Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Only drawbacks for us was the heatwave and booking a hotel without air con. Also, we were room 3 in the lower ground at the front. This has 2 doubles and a single. For security purposes we couldn’t leave the window open for air, plus some noise disruption which is to be expected of course but first night we struggled to adjust to the underground trains that sounded like they were right under us. I would definitely come back however perhaps to a different room.

The property is on a row of multiple hotels. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. One, I think she was having a bad day or it had been a long day. The one downside that I didn’t catch was although it has 3 floors there are no elevators and the stairs are a bit narrow when hauling luggage up to the top floor. There are several eating options and it is close to public transportation. There didn’t appear to be any dedicated parking
