Lovely stay! Our room was clean. Staff was also great and helpful. Russell Square subway station is a short walking distance. The British Museum is also walkable from the hotel.

Location is very good , clean rooms . The only thing is the shower, difficult to check the temperature without being inside the shower due the shower head point out to the door, all the water comes out. Good hotel If you want to spend 1,2 nights in London.

We were upgraded to a room with air con - very nice clean room, very comfortable beds. Robes, choice of coffee and staff very helpful. Paid for breakfast which was very good for the price. Would stay again as 2 mins to British Museum and 5 from tube station

Booked the day before for a last min trip. Bargain price in January. Friendly helpful staff. We were early for checkin but just wanted to drop a bag off to go out for the day but our room was ready so we were able to go straight to it. It was a cold room on 7th floor, but there was an oil heater in the room which I’m glad I put on before we went out to take the chill out the air for coming back in. Had we waited until we got in it would’ve been freezing. There’s only one lift which is really slow and small 3/4 people max, 2 with luggage, so you may need to wait a while for it if you are unable to use the stairs especially At checkout times. Room was ideal near Holborn station and Russel square, 10/15min walk from Euston station. 15min walk to Covent Garden. Lots of eating places/coffee shops on your doorstep. Perfect for a one night 2 day trip to London and would use again if I was able to source again a cheap price.

Good single room, clean -- too clean in a way as towels seemed to be replaced although I hung them as requested to show I didn't want them replaced. The TV wouldn't function after the first day, perhaps a flat battery ... pleasant breakfast room! Owing to the nature of the building, there's only one rather small (& slow) lift which was a minor problem for the elderly (such as myself) who don't fancy four flights of stairs. But despite a warning that hot water might be slow to arrive, it was fine. I may well come again; very convenient location for me.
