"Staff were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. This was the same at breakfast and in the evening. Our room however was a little tired. New pillows needed. The bathroom was divided into two ‘cupboard ‘ type arrangements. Rather odd . The outside lighting which came on late In the evening lit the room quite brightly when trying to sleep. "Last minute booking, and there was only 1 room available. It was a gorgeous room, with luxurious features, including a 4 poster bed, and free standing bath. The restaurant is an authentic Italian and the menu was sublime, which oozed quality - both in the ingredients and presentation, all served very attentively. The breakfast in the morning had plenty of continental options too, a full English was an optional extra. "

"Lovely hotel in a very convenient location if visiting the University, plenty of parking and self check in / check out which was very straight forward. Nice spacious room with large shower room. Only arrived late evening and left before 9am so cannot comment on meals, but would definitely stay again."

A few minutes later he returned, rang the bell, could see the person on reception but no one came. Apparently, she could not see him or the other guests waiting outside as she was short sighted and could not hear the bell she asked him to ring because the music was too loud!!
