“The pod was cold when we arrived and we struggled to get the fire to draw and take hold. Once going it was a little better. The staff were great and ready to help with more wood. The lodge was a fabulous warm space. So much character! Breakfast was good but the frozen evening meals system was not to our taste. But all in all we had a great time.”

“I felt this place felt like a B&B or an upmarket hostel. I was acutely conscious that other people were in the next bedroom and we felt constrained with talking and TV volume etc. I booked it thinking it a hotel but it was like a strangely converted family home. I don't think the pictures make it clear what you are getting.”
