“The room was clean and the staff were very courteous. The complimentary breakfast was nice, but I would have preferred more options. The power also went out on a couple of occasions but was turned back on quickly.”

“The room was clean and okay for comfort. The pullout sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture was a little outdated but the floors were very dirty. Without shoes on your feet, your feet will get black. The front staff and bell boy were friendly. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get back and forth from your room to where the pool and food area are located. The food was good but the bartender/ server during the day was swamped and had no one else to help. The hotel needs to have more...

“There was many repairs that needed to be made to the room. It wasn’t cleaned properly. There was no hot water the faucet to turn the water on was broken. They didn’t come and change the sheets or gift towels. The whole property seemed old and ran down.”

“room was clean and there was a tv and coffee maker, otherwise it was AWFUL. The parking was not safe for my elderly parents to navigate. There was no elevator, and my mom had a terrible time on the stairs. No hot water for showers. There was trash in the refrigerator. Restaurant was a room, not enough seating for the 4 of us. Extremely loud people outside and in hallways. Someone even tried to enter our room in middle of the night. It was worst experience ever.”

“The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy. ”

“Pros: Perfect location to shops, restaurants and ferry. Good free breakfast, coffee, water, oatmeal, fruit, muffins and yogurt for breakfast. Nice breezy patios to sit and relax. The beach chairs offered were a great touch too. Cons: Went to lay down for bed and there was sand leftover from previous guests, yet they rushed over to change the sheets. The rooms are small, the shower is tiny but, its a comfy stay. ”

“What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!”
