"Called in advance as we were travelling from the North East England , so not landing until after 10pm , no problems will leave door open & keys in your room , which is basically a chalet type room , needed a hotel that accommodates Dogs , as we have Two , nice dog friendly facilities, great little doggy pack when you arrive - with blankets etc great touch ! "Quirky old building but well maintained, low ceilings 😅 Fantastic staff, nice pub downstairs, lots of locals eating in the restaurant. Food was a bit average. Bedroom windows don't open more than 2cm due to safety cord. "

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."
