Property was beautifully located on the northern shore of Lake Michigan. The facility itself was a bit run down and in need of a huge overhaul. Windows broken, screens missing, beds with crinkly mattress protectors, broken TV, wall plugs that would not hold a plug in charger....

The restaurant next door was amazing with great food and friendly staff. The front desk guy was friendly at check in. Parking was easy. The rooms were clean. The pool area was ok but the water did look a bit cloudy, hot tub was nice and hot. The beds were horribly hard. It felt like sleeping on the floor with just a blanket under you as my children described it. If your looking for a quiet place, this isn't a good choice. You can hear everything going on out on the balcony and in the rooms next to you.

Basic motel
Very basic motel. The room was clean and beds were firm. The pool and hot tub were the main reason we chose it. Unfortunately the pool was freezing and the hot tub was lukewarm at best.

Staff was very friendly! Room was clean. It could use some updating, but was comfy. It’s been a well loved motel. Room was warm(it’s winter) so good. However the heating system was extremely noisy. Pool was very busy. Young Hockey team was staying there. Kids were great. Hot tub was very hot when we first got in but cooled down as cold water was being pumped in through the jets and it never did warm back up. I’ve stayed at many bad motels, this isn’t one of them. I would stay there again!

When I arrived my room didn't have any heat on and the temperature wasn't even registered on the thermostat. It took a day and half to get to 70°. Mind you I reserved the room 3 days before my trip. I had the thermostat turned up to 86°. When we wanted to use the hot tub it was colder than the pool. When I went and asked to get the hot tub turned on I got told give it 15 minutes. It still wasn't hot half hour later. The beds were rock hard. I should have asked for a refund the first night!

The check in was easy and we had a friendly visit. She told me everything I needed to know to have an enjoyable night. Plus we a got two $10 credit vouchers for the casino near by.

It is adverised and we were told at our 745pm check in that the pool was open until 10pm. We went for dinner and tried to go for a swim at 845 and it was locked up already. Since the office was closed we called the after hours number to have the person tell us they were sorry they must have closed early and there is nothing they can do about it because the man on site doesnt speak english. We only booked this hotel for the pool so find it very upsetting.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Room was nicer than expected for the price and clean. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only complaint is, there were several wet spots on the carpet, so we just used the many furnished towels on those areas. All in all, was a good stay for what we needed.

I need a chiropractor
I don’t think it is too much to ask to get a reasonable price, have a clean hotel and a comfortable mattress. Prices were OK, room clean but oh my aching back. I know not everybody likes a softer mattress but maybe hotels could have one bed be softer and one regular in each room?

Nice place, just dated. The bathroom faculties were old and in need of an update. The beds were very stiff, without any padding or a "pillow-top" so you get to sleep on springs. It was like you were laying on a box spring. However, the place was very clean and the host was very nice. Having the restaurant right next door made walking to breakfast easy and convenient.

I thought it was too good to be true... First room was horrible. There was mold in the jacuzzi jets. Strong pungent odor and worn down room. Second room was worn down and smelled badly. Faucet (whole piece) moved when turning on or off. The door to bathroom didnt close.. ugh we were tired or we would have went elsewhere.

Property looked very nice. The rooms could use a little paint and refreshing. Especially in the bathroom. I was expecting a hairdryer in the room. There wasn’t one. The staff was very nice and helpful. Loved having laundry facilities available to me. We were very pleased.

The rooms were just so so, the pool was gross…so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. No way would it be safe to enter.
