"Terrible staff, charged us more hidden fees to give us a room we had already paid for! Looked nothing like the photos. Pointless to be using the cite and getting a room if one is still going to be charged more fees to get a place and for it to look nothing like the photos!!!!"

"I would have loved to rate this stay a little bit higher than I did, but unfortunately due to the lack of cleanliness of the room, I cannot. We stayed one night in the luxury room with double queen beds. I was hoping that the room matched the images, but it was dirty. It seemed as if the housekeepers looked past the room and the smaller details of it. There was a piece of cheesecake in the fridge. There was a cucumber slice in the corner of the room and pieces of food still on the carpet. When I opened one of the drawers there was foil in it. There was a bunch of hair on the bathroom floors and the bottom of the tub was dark. The scent was not pleasant either, once you opened the door, it had a perpetual a$$ smell. The things I did enjoy was the early check in, the amenities, and how close everything was. The movie theater, the pool, and the lake. There was also a little gas station in the parking lot of the hotel which was nice."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at the Tropicana in Laughlin was awful from start to finish. The check-in lines were extremely long, which was frustrating after traveling all day, but the real issue started when we finally got to our room. The room was filthy and clearly not properly cleaned. There were stains throughout the room and carpet, visible damage, a broken door, and what appeared to be old vomit stains. The condition of the room was honestly shocking and completely unacceptable for a hotel charging guests to stay there. We were so uncomfortable that we checked out immediately instead of staying the night. Unfortunately, the front desk employee we dealt with was rude and dismissive about the situation. Because we booked through Expedia, they said they couldn’t refund us, but they also made absolutely no effort to make things right — no apology beyond the bare minimum, no room change offered, no complimentary anything, and no customer service whatsoever. Very disappointing experience overall. Cleanliness and customer service were both far below expectations. I would not stay here again."
