I booked a cheaper room, facing the street instead of an ocean view, but the waterfront was minutes away and we walked along the waterfront path several times. Great location and nice, clean hotel with great staff.

The Cottages on Salt Spring Island
I love the cottages, we've been there several times. My only piece of feedback is that the 5 pm check in and 10 am check out is not consistent with what I've experienced at other places I've booked, and I think is a bit unreasonable.
