Awesome place to stay

El Olivera is a very awesome place to stay. My wife love it soo much that she didn’t want to leave. The food was great, accommodation was great, staff was great, people great. Overall experience was 9.5 out of 10. Definitely coming back

This hotel is definitely not a palace , nor a 5 stars. Even if the staff is welcoming (one of the women who was serving eggs for breakfast was not at all) the building is old, the carpets are dirty, some parts of the buildings are not clean at all. The inside pool was not open and it was not mentioned when I book the stay. The snacks and a large part of the buffet is made only was very simple ingredients and dishes. The dessert part offer is only small bits of cake and ice cream are not quality. The best moment was the breakfast with the omelette side. The donut/ sfeng side for snack was good.

The property was ok. Most of the service received was great, however the we were met outside by bell hop(?) he became agitated when we said we would carry our own bags and insisted on carrying them. When we eventually got to our room he stood there expecting a tip, so we gave him what little money we had which to be fair wasn't much, roughly 20 Dirhams.. he got angry with us saying it was only £1 in English money, I found this appalling behaviour from a staff member!!! The food at the buffets were mostly Luke warm, however there was a fantastic range of foods.

Super relaxing break

We booked a three night weekend break for our wedding anniversary arriving late on a Friday evening. We received a friendly greeting our bags were taken to the room and we had a traditional Moroccan meal in the restaurant before drinks and retiring to our very nice room. The service was excellent, staff really attentive and overall a very nice hotel. We deliberately picked this hotel as it is well away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Marrakesh, if you want to be near the action this is not the place for you. The hotel was extremely quiet on the last weekend in November which suited us but may not be for everyone. The all inclusive was somewhat limited with local drinks at one outdoor bar being the only option, this more than met our requirements but I would imagine when the hotel is busy you could wait a long time for a drink. The entertainment team were amazing and keen to involve everyone without being overly pushy. We will certainly look to return again and thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break but not if you are looking for a full on action packed holiday

This hotel excells in kindness & service. Rooms & facilities are good ( not top notch) but everything is served with a smile. Food (we did breakfast and dinner here) was good. Bar, outside bar and swimming pool were great. Thank you staff for making our stay such a nice & warm break. Highly recommended!

An overall very good experience apart from some minor drawbacks. The room was amazing: very spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The bathrooms were clean though we had to get rid of a large insect when we first arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful though room service wasn't as often as we would have expected. Also took long to get something when we asked reception (spare sheets, iron)

The entire staff was absolutely fantastic and a joy to be around from start to finish. We arrived at the resort late around 12:15 am. I asked the front clerk were there any vending machines. Not long after we were in our room, someone knocked on our door with two full plates of food. The staff at El Olivar, helped make our 11th year anniversary exceptionally memorable and we are thankful for your hospitality.

Not a true 5 star. More like a 3 star. Property is quite run down and needs updating. Food was good but repetitive. Most of the staff spoke limited English. The all inclusive drinks selection is very limited, the drinks at the bar are chargeable.

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Not a 5* worthy hotel at all. Very old. Worst part was our first night one of us had to sleep on the floor because the bed was completely broken. Should have chexked before taking guests in. The other rooms sink went block so friends had to come and use our room. Not much veriety of food at all. Definitely not a 5* may be a 3.

Hôtel situé à environ 12 km du centre-ville de Marrakech. Deux navettes gratuites permettent de s’y rendre : une le matin à 9h30 (retour à 12h30) et une l’après-midi à 15h30 (retour à 19h). L’hôtel est propre et bien entretenu. La piscine était un peu froide à mon goût, mais je n’étais pas là pour ça ! Le buffet est varié, avec de bonnes spécialités locales. Les animations du soir sont vraiment sympas : un grand merci à Abdel, Mouss et à l’autre animateur (dont j’ai oublié le prénom, désolée !) pour leur énergie et leur bonne humeur. Ils se donnent à fond ! Merci aussi aux jeunes serveurs pour leurs sourires et leur gentillesse chaque soir. Je recommande cet établissement : j’y ai passé 5 jours vraiment super !
