โWe enjoyed our stay at Nickyโs Resort in Cabin 2!
We had an issue with the coffee maker that was resolved quickly. It was still a little dark at night going up the steps but lighting was available and on. A restaurant โWapiti Colorado Pubโ is in front of the resort and was a great option for one of our dinners. It is a short drive to Estes Park stores and restaurants. We loved โBob and Tonyโs Pizzaโ that had a gluten free option, and the โMountain Home Cafe.โ We shopped at Safeway for groceries...
โThe accommodation itself was satisfactory. However, although I made advance payment at HOTELS.COM, the hotel charged again for the room with my credit card. I informed the hotel of my double billing through HOTELS.COM but the hotel did not respond for nearly a week. I stayed at the end of March and managed to get a refund in mid-April. Instead of apologizing, the hotel sent only the refund receipt by email without a word of greeting. I was very disappointed and upset.โ
โVery quaint property. My room is facing a stream and itโs nice to hear the water flowing over the rocks. Nice check in with a chilled bottle of champagne and candles. Very sweet after my son and I travelled from afar. Great staff gave us electric bikes and we rode around Lake Estes yesterday. So fun. โ
โFirst person we talked to on the phone to ask about our stay was extremely incompetent, however, once we arrived, we had zero issues. This was a nice hotel and good location โ
