"This was not a good experience. No ability to pay with credit card and had to use cash. Pool was down for maintenance. There was no soap, towels, or toilet paper. Waited 45 minutes for pillow slips. No internet to watch tv. And on top of all that the elevator didn't work and we were on the 4th floor. Definitely not a good experience at all."

"This is our fourth stay at the property. Out second stay in one of the train cars. The room was exceptionally clean. The outside light is on all night so if you cannot sleep with a lot of light, do not stay in the train cars. The mattress is extremely firm. This is subjective to what you like, but my wife and I both thought it was too hard. Had to track down staff to check in and she was not very polite. Maybe a bad day. Will stay again, but not in the train cars."

"The whole area was breathtaking. Staff were wonderful. We had an early checkin with no problems. The lodge was absolutely beautiful. I told my husband that is exactly what I want for my tiny retirement home. We were only there for one night for a conference but are planning a longer stay very soon. Best hotel, lodge, inn or any place I have ever stayed and the price was right! Highly reccomend Soujourner Lodge to everyone visiting the area!!"

"I chose this hotel by searching online and looking at what it had to offer. Overall, it was a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Clean and the bed was comfortable. The biggest down fall was the breakfast. Not like what was shown in the pictures or the "top rated" claim in the description. There was no coffee cart as shown under the lobby spiral staircase. In fact, the coffee was not very good being distributed from a machine by pressing a button. Very small cups are used. The eggs seemed to be of the instant or powdered variety. The pastries offered were wrapped and did not taste very good. Staff was not keeping up with keeping the breakfast utensils supplied. No forks, ate waffle with difficulty using a knife and a spoon."
