โThe hotel was absolutely wonderful. If youโre reading this, chances are youโre an American who, like me, knew little about Spello, Italy before booking. Trust meโyou wonโt regret staying here. While we didnโt dine at the on-site restaurant, it offers incredible views. The location is also very convenientโperched at the top of the hill, it rewards you with stunning scenery (and a bit of a workout getting there).

โExcellent Hosts. They did not speak much English which we actually enjoyed as my wife got to try out her Italian. It is a little slice of heaven tucked into the Hillside of Umbria. Lots of extras and the pool was magnificent! If there was ever any stressโฆRelax Cottage! โ

โClean, with several English speaking staff, and very close to the Basilica. The breakfast attendant, Momo, was so generous and kind when a member of our party needed some extra help. He really went above and beyond. Certainly would recommend if you value cleanliness and proximity to sights and restaurants.โ
โFantastic relaxing and peaceful stay. We stayed at Abbazia for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and we did not want to leave. Our stay was absolutely wonderful; the rooms are wonderful and the staff our so accommodating and friendly. The spa prices were very reasonable and I was impressed at the variety and quality of the many treatments they had on offer. The food was delicious with a different menu every day and dinner in the restaurant with the view of the Umbrian hills at sunset was...
โVery clean, quiet, friendly helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Spacious room. Comfortable beds room fits three people. Excellent air conditioning. Excellent bathroom with clean towels and adorable packets of toothbrush and other toiletries. Many restaurants in close walking distance. AMAZING VIEW from outdoor terrace and bedroom windows of St Francis Bascillica and countryside. Assisi churches and attractions are all walking distances. 5 stars for everything. โ
