“This inn is old and historic. Passed down through many generations. It was interesting and Uncle Charlie’s room was comfortable. Breakfast was good not until 9am. They now have a full time live in innkeeper which is helpful. Convenient to Vineyards/wineries, JMU, Massanutten and breweries. The beautiful Shenandoah valley can’t be beat for scenery!”

“My stay was great! I have stayed at other hotels in the area, and this was hands down the nicest one. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-stocked. I didn't even have to call the desk for an extra pillow or blanket! I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Great location! Nearby shopping and restaurants. Staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good and had a good selection. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Clean, spacious suite, great lobby bar!”

“Studio kitchen.”

“Very poor experience, would not book again. Property was difficult to navigate to, then upon arrival found out that elevator was broken, rooms outdated, rundown, and unkept.”

“We arrived late at night and had chosen this hotel due to EV Chargers. Unfortunately not only were there no charging parking spots available, there wasn’t a single spot to park in at all. They charged us $5 a night for parking which was a surprise to me when we checked in. Seems absurd to pay for parking and then have to park at a grocery store and walk over in the middle of the night.”

“This place was very clean and had new fixtures and furniture. No mold or mildew in bathroom. Very nice! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was due to a lot of road noise you could hear in our room.”

“Nice breakfast options including biscuits and gravy. Close to 81. Rugs need a refresh.”

“Convenient location and easy to find,”
