“Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed. “The hotel ground was very nice and serene. A lot of walking trails to walk around. Our room was secluded and quiet. It was facing the ocean and we had a balcony where we could hang out and watch the sunset. The minor things were that the table in our room was not properly cleaned when we arrived and the heater took some time to heat up the room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Easy check-in/check-out. Staff was friendly, though we did get some incorrect info about what restaurants were open. Room has a bit of a musty/old smell, but otherwise clean. The blankets are a bit thin (but there were extras available), and the towels a bit scratchy. Great location, and lovely view of sunset colors!”

“I thought the price was reasonable. But they forgot to mention it doesn't include the restroom. So I paid around $30 more to get restroom included… LOLZ And no TV. in the hotel!!! The lady who works front desk said no elevator to go upstairs with big luggages.”
