"Room was functionality very good, with stove, refrigerator. Someone remarked it was dated but i liked it. Location is excellent, in the heart of downtown and perfect if McGill location is important to you. Parking was in a nearby hotel for a reasonable daily fee. Breakfast was basic, nothing cooked (cold boiled eggs aside) but plentiful. For the location it was very decently priced."

"Great location within walking of restaurants and sites. We loved our super big room with 2 washrooms- totally worth the extra fees. Staff were friendly. Continental Breakfast was basic but there was a lot of it and it was fresh. "

"We paid for the “upgraded” room that had its own toilet and shower, which came out to something like $90. The room felt pretty cramped and small. We also were in a room that was directly next to one of the communal bathrooms so we constantly heard people coming in and out of there all night. The listing said it came with A/C and a TV but they used the same plug so if we wanted to watch cable, we couldn’t have the A/C running which just seems like something that I shouldn’t have to choose between. There was also a broken floor vent (?) in the bathroom, not really sure what that was about. The staff was pretty friendly, I can’t knock them there. We just were not overly impressed with the few amenities that were offered. But you kind of get what you pay for, the location is right in the heart of things so it could be worse."

"The room was great. Comfortable bed, clean and we got extra towels. Breakfast was very good, with many choices and I loved the coffee, I could have a espresso, latte or whatever I wanted. So awesome, just pushed a bottom and a fresh cup of coffee."

"The front of house staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and did not seem happy with their jobs. All became clear on checkout when I asked the new lady on reception who was the Manager. It turned out to be her and her band was EDWIGE. I asked to leave my luggage and was told that would be 4$. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN ASKED by a hotel that I have been staying in to pay for them holding luggage…. I asked on the first day for my bedside lamp to be sorted as it was not working. Two of the front desk said it would be done but it was not attended to. Both shower pressure and temperature needs attention, also lavatory flush. Each time I came down to reception there was another guest who had a problem/ complaint. The drinks case in the foyer only took coins and not credit cards. Reception had no coins. The manager was not interested in knowing about her complaints, in fact refused to give me her full name and hotel email so that I could document the problems I had experienced. I credit her behaviour with why the front of house staff are so depressed and lacking any charm. I don’t often write bad reviews bug this hotel needs to up its game."

"Stayed for 2 nights. Area is great. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Everything is easy walking distance. Hotel is roomy, clean and comfortable. "

"Awesome place to stay for a long weekend! Close walking distance to Old Montreal attractions, good food, coffee, and shops to explore. Followed by awesome sauna experience to relax after a long day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
