As a seasoned traveler who has stayed in Marriott properties across the globe, I expected consistency, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, Moxy Miami was hands-down the worst Marriott experience Iโve ever had. This hotel is a complete disappointment and does not reflect the standards or values of the Marriott brand.
The problems started immediately.
Before arriving, we were told by a staff member named Nicky that valet parking would be $49. However, when we arrived, we were given three different pricesโone by the valet, another by the front desk, and a third from printed signage. Confusing, disorganized, and misleading.
Room issues were constant.
Our first room was unbearably hotโthe AC barely worked, and we were left sweating inside. We requested a room change, and while we were moved, the second room had the same problem. Multiple staff came to โadjustโ the thermostat, but nothing improved.
On top of that, the shower door was broken and never repaired during our stay. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, and worst of all, the shower was visibly unclean, with pubic hair stuck to the walls. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one affiliated with MarrHousekeeping was nonexistent.
We were told rooms are cleaned every other dayโbut thatโs not what happened. We went three days without a room cleaning, no fresh towels, no toilet paper, no trash removal. We had to take our own garbage out to the hallway, including used toilet pape
