“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. “This is such a peaceful stay. The property is well kept, beautiful and private. The lodges are so nice and comfy. Only complaint is parking. Not enough for everyone to get a space in front of the lodge they are staying in. The person staying in a lodge by us parked right in the middle of the spaces leaving no room for anyone else! We had to park in overflow and walk to the lodge we were staying in. VERY INCONVENIENT.”

“A hidden gem! I’ve lived about 15min for over 20+ yrs moved to VA and decided to come back for a weekend for family time and I’ve been left pleasantly surprised. As “bourgeois” as a I am, I had low expectations, but I honestly am in love. We stayed in a King suite and it was spacious and clean, with a nice view of the pool and it was quiet and peaceful the entire time. This was a great find! I highly recommend”
