"It is true this is the closest property outside of the park only a few minutes to the Arch Rock Entrance. The front desk staff were wonderful. I left a bag of clothes in our room and spoke with Liz at reception once I realized and she has been unfailingly helpful in the return of the items. This year it is especially key to be close to the park. Even a ten minute delay in getting to the parking lots of Yosemite Valley could mean the difference between seeing and not seeing the Valley. We had a spacious room with a balcony that overlooked the river with a pleasing sound. The mini kitchen was new and very functional. I would definitely stay here again."
"The style of the accomodations is a bit old, but everything is clean and the bed is comfortable. They offer quite a bit there -- pool + hot tub with a bar, and it looks like they serve all you can eat BBQ poolside. They have 2 L3 chargers that are reservable for 3 hours per guest, but we couldn't get it to work, so I could only L2 charge. They have a general store as well as a coffee bar, as well as a full restaurant. The dinner we had last night was excellent, even though we just had chicken burgers and regular burgers. They were tasty, and some of the best fries I've ever eaten! The staff there is incredibly nice and helpful. Very pleasant people!"
"I was charged twice (paid thru Expedia, showed my receipt but was not honored and was charged again the night we checked in). It's sad if I don't get a refund of one of the payments made because then the one night we stayed there costs $743.84. Spoked with Expedia, they said refund won't be processed without approval from the property, which is understandable but how is it fair that I got charged twice? I'm wondering if I'll ever get my money back."
"What a place !!!!! Exactly what we needed before we knew we needed it. Staff was outstanding, friendly and accommodating. Do not let the name of the cafe fool you (June Bug Cafe). The food and selection was 5 star. We ate every meal there. They even offer sack lunches to go. Bed was super comfortable, the room was roomy and included an outdoor porch with 2 chairs and a table.
Location to Yosemite was perfect. Approx 30 minutes to the east entrance off of 140
A diamond in the rough you do not want to miss."
"Great family friendly resort near northern entrance of Yosemite. Most commonly visited park sites are 45-1 hour 15 minutes from the hotel. Great amenities including a game room, pool, outdoor play area. Staff at the recreation desk was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan our days. Food is resort pricing but as expected."
