"Very large rooms. Decor was nice. Beautiful old hotel in a very convenient location to restaurants and transport. The mattress on the bed was a little lumpy but overall a nice stay. Breakfast and the staff were terrific. Lots of choices and quality food. Staff give old fashioned impeccable service. We would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed at Villa Igiea six nights.The grounds are impeccably beautiful , well kept ,maintained daily and romantic. It is so serene to sit outdoor anywhere on the property daydream,have conversation or have an exceptional drink. The bar is exceptional with its elegance,menu and service.Has historic look. The two restaurants have interesting choice menus each in their own rights and different settings.Me and my family tried several of the offerings, they were all done to perfection. The rooms are well appointed with all the conveniences ,comfort and elegance .Beautiful views of the sea and the port from the balcony. The SERVICE in ALL aspects was delivered on a silver platter We enjoyed our stay immensely.Thanks for ALL the staff that make this Villa glimer !"

"As a 3-star hotel, the Mediterraneo is excellent value for money and perfectly situated close to the Teatro Massimo and via Macqueda. The breakfast is excellent. However, it is a pity there is no kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. Also, there was no shower cap or shower gel. I have been coming to the Mediterraneo for 51 years (since 1975!). It has always been great under successive management. However, I would like to see a little more by way of facilities in the room, including also a stocked mini-bar."
