Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was great, pool & hot tub were perfect temp and well maintained, the flowers and landscaping was gorgeous. The front desk man even lent me his umbrella for the morning as I was ill prepared for the rain!

The Monterey Bay Lodge is the right price for what you receive. You are quite far from Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf, but there is ample parking available. The pool and lounge area are very nice, but we did not use while there. The room was quiet and the beds seemed clean as well as most of the amenities. Unfortunately, there was black mold in the bathroom and the floors were so dirty it turned our feet black. You can always tell when they don't mop between room cleans, the floors immediately make the kids feet dirty. Outside of these two issues, we really did feel like the hotel was adequate for our quick one night stay. The staff acknowledged the issues and I hope they will be fixed.

It was an amazing stay. I loved the hotel. They have nice outdoor seating and have a small pool to hang out by. I thought the hotel rooms were nice and clean and really enjoyed my stay here. Front desk lady was super nice!
