The rooms were great. Need to clean the spider webs off the outside of the building. Check in great. With breakfast maybe add bagels and bacon or sausage. Nice place close to everything.

The staff at the property was very nice, the price was right, the hotel was pet friendly. The downsize was the hotel was worn a bit and needs some renovation in the bathroom.

Overall our stay was great. The hotel is in a great location not too far from the beach and other activities and restaurants. There's actually a restaurant across the street from the hotel. The room looked nice and newly renovated. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the loud AC unit but the room temperature overall was fine. The hotel representative was friendly and informative about things to do in the area. We were also able to checkin a little earlier than expected which was great. We'll definitely consider staying at this hotel again whenever we return to the area.

Cons: The floor of the hotel room was filthy. The weatherstripping around the door was deteriorated. Could hear the TV, talking and activity in the other rooms. A/C unit was extremely loud. Pros: Pancakes were good. Staff was friendly. Easy parking.

Beach Trip w/Pet

Room was very clean, staff was very friendly. I stayed overnight with my dog and it went very well. The TV channels were really good. The last couple hotels I stayed at had crappy TV so that was nice. Only downside was the massive amount of fire ants in the grassy/dog walking area.

Nicole was great ,she is very kind and helpful.the breakfast is not good enough ,only eggs and cheese,the pankcake machine and the microwave cannot be use together ,people have to wait to warm up the eggs ,or make the panckcakes.not enough variety of food for breakfast.theere were cockroaches in the rooms ,bugs spiders.overall not happy

A night in Swansboro, NC

All checked in and getting settled in. We turned TV on and it was on a Latino channel (we thought). Switching to other channels and all were speaking in Spanish. Could find no way to switch language to English. Off to the front desk and the lady informed me there was no one available to 'fix' the problem. She switched us to a different room where the TV was speaking English. My thanks to the lady who helped us. Later as I was preparing to bathe, the shower mechanism was new to me and it took a while before I could figure it out. Maybe that was just me. But I did finally get it to work. The following morning, my spouse and I decided to try the free breakfast. A fairly good selection was offered, but no eggs. I attempted to get pancakes from a fully automatic pancake making machine. As luck would have it, the display popped up a 'device overheating message'. I went to front desk and the man who investigated advised me that he had to contact the manufacturer and it was necessary for that company to send out a technician. Sorry, no pancakes that morning. I really understand these kinds of things happened but all in all the motel provided a comfortable nights rest, which is the primary reason we stayed there. So, yes, I probably would stay there again.
