“Beautiful property with large rooms and very clean. The bar area was great and the female bartended on duty was attentive and very nice. This was our last night in Portland but we’d definitely consider staying here again.”

“Breakfast was great.”

“it's more of motel than hotel, the pictures were misleading. clean rooms and amenities. Breakfast was ok. Felt a bit overpriced value for money.”

“Great location. Clean and nice remodel.”

“Clean”

“Room was simple, but spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had rather low pressure unfortunately. The coffee machine was very basic but did the job. The coffee, water, and snacks in the lobby were very nice to have. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for navigating the town and dinner reservations (shout-out to Christopher). The only downside was the price. For what it was, I think the price was very high, but was happy with the experience overall.”

“Our stay was truly amazing! Clefstone Inn is exceptionally well-kept and spotlessly clean, offering unique, cozy, and homey rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and incredibly informative, even offering great recommendations and arranging access to a neighboring hotel's pool, jacuzzi, and gym when we had rainy weather disrupted our park plans. Breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious, featuring a choice of sweet or savory dishes complemented by homemade cookies, muffins, or fresh...

“We stayed here as a family of three while visiting Acadia National Park, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The location made getting to the park incredibly easy, which saved us time and stress during our trip. I also loved that the property had a small gift shop. It was convenient, and our 3‑year‑old had a wonderful experience there thanks to the front desk staff, who were exceptionally kind to him while he was looking at the souvenirs. It’s a moment we won’t forget. Compared to other...

“Great place to stay! Love the balcony and view. Staff was great and room was comfy. Only thing that felt like an after thought was our rooms bathroom.”

“Very nice property on the water”

“Christina did a great job welcoming us and explaining the details of our stay. She even reassured us she would make a thermos of coffee for the lobby before she left for the evening so we would have it for early the next morning (the rooms don’t have coffee makers). It would be great if this was done routinely, it was disappointing to not have coffee available in the office the other mornings until close to 8am.”

“I don't recommend this hotel never. The reception women wasn't nice, and my wife and I couldn't sleep well because my room is loud noise of my door next front door . There is a most upsetting situation. And I was very cold in sleep because the heating didn't work at all night. The heating regulator did not work. It was 2am that I founded that the heating didn't work. I caught a runny nose next day and my trip was interrupted. I never recommend this hotel.”

“Nice, clean hotel in a very beautiful location off the beaten path. A bit pricey for this level of hotel but the entire area is expensive. Breakfast was simple but complete with excellent coffee and pastries along with eggs, etc. When we first arrived, the room we were assigned had a wet carpet from a leak in the bathroom. The manager immediately came to the room, assessed the issue and relocated us with a discount. Professional and courteous. We would recommend”
