This is a lovely little hotel with very welcoming staff. Facilities are adequate for a short stay and the location, on the edge of the Viktualien-markt, is ideal for site seeing. Only issue which is not their fault is at 7am every morning the adjacent church rings it's bells. Breakfast is available at the next door restaurant if required but there are so many places within a few minutes walk that we didn't use this.

Location was excellent. But to pay nearly $300 for a room with no air conditioning, was not acceptable. Rooms were sparse, and rate didn’t even include breakfast.

We loved our little room at this perfected situated hotel. Just a 2-min walk to the Marienplatz and close in proximity to dining and history! The hotel staff was very courteous and very helpful in securing taxis and providing us with local information. Our room was small but had excellent space for clothing and places to keep our belongings. If and when I return to Munich, I would most definitely check in to Hotel Am Market again.
