Our stay here started out rocky when we were given our keys to the room on the 11th floor, and they wouldnโt work, after multiple trips up and down the elevator, we finally got into our room. The floor had not been swept or mopped from the previous people as sand was all over the floor. We were unaware that room service was not provided until I had to go to the desk to ask after our first day, the girl told us we had to alert them 24 hrs in advance, which I asked for, I saw her write down our room although after 2 more days, we did not get room service and ended up cleaning the room ourselves, after a 5 night stay, we did not receive any room service. The bed was definitely very used and divots were in the bed which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. The indoor and outdoor pools were closed as well as the hot tubs, although the lazy river was open, it did not look like it should have been. The elevators have not been checked in a long time it appears as the last safety inspection date was crossed off in sharpie so we couldnโt read it, and they made some pretty disturbing sounds each time we used them. I really like the price of this hotel and the availability it gives for the people who want a vacation but donโt want to spend too much, although itโs understandable why itโs cheap. Although we had one rude staff member who did not seem to want to do her job, or even speak to people, the rest of the staff was so helpful and friendly.
