We stayed for a weekend. It was not perfect, but clean enough. Close to the boardwalk and right on the beach. Has a small older condo feel to it. We didn’t go into the new building that sits between the two older ones. I would return. I like having the kitchenette, separate bedroom, great view of the ocean and steps from the boardwalk.

The property is in good location off the main strip parking was good across the street also the staff was nice but need to update the furniture in the room look old also water pressure is not good...had a good ocean view...for most part it was a good stay just need update

I liked how friendly the staff was and quick to help. The room on the other hand had two bad water leaks in the bathroom pouring water everywhere then the dishwasher started leaking immediately also

le Horrible stay went with my family of 6 (4 kids ). I booked for the weekend but only stayed one night ,as soon as I arrived and checked into my room immediately noticed heat a/c wasn’t working 94 degrees and was running full blast ,take in mind I have a 4 month old after leaving my family alone in the over heated room we drug all our luggage up and from the car not to mention the parking garage is two streets over for parking. I asked for a room change , they were unaware of which room was ready so I spent the next 30 minutes room chasing with the security guard/host / maintenance (All one guy ) we finally found an appropriate room which he could not make us keys to he quote on quote said (if you need to get back in just come get me us we’ll let you in). He never once thought about if we couldn’t find him or if he was dealing with customers. That pissed me slap off . Here is a list of issues - mold on every ceiling vent - huge hole in ceiling dripping water above toilet looks to have had black mold - all walls were cracked and very ugly repaired (not a big deal)- tvs were old and several buttons on remote did not work - couch /pull out coved in huge stains - ropes hanging from roof dangling on the balcony that my kids were grabbing from could have been very deadly 14th floor advertised as a full balcony but u could not step out onto it because it was a false balcony 14” wide - room was tiny another factor of false advertising - bathtub would not drain properly kept filling

Kevin,You had checked in after hours & we try to help as fast we could with a/c situation, by moving you to another room. We had checked both rooms after your family left, they were good. If there is a next time you need ask for at a large 1 bedroom that has a king bed queen sofa bed & 1 set of kid bunk beds. This will fit your family better.

The light was out by our door. The elevator could have been a little cleaner. We loved the oceanfront view from two different rooms and were able to watch the sun come up on the water from our room! We also loved the apartment-style room. Felt cozy!

Location was only good thing.....i will never stay again....carpet and sofa were filthy....definitely would not recommend

The location and proximity to the boardwalk and beach was great. The building/units are clearly dated and in desperate need of a remodel. There was water damage to the wall in the bathroom that was unsightly, rust in some places and the furnishings need updated. However our unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, and you cant beat that view!

I reserved a room with view of the ocean with king bed. Got a family room for 4 w/full kitchen with a view of the hot tub that wasn’t hot. I went back to front desk to see about another room they were all booked 220 rooms all booked for weds & Thursday, REALLY! Bathroom was nasty, round seat with elongated bowl, paint peeling off shower wall. Phone didn’t work.

Prices were great for a resort right on the beach. Updates to the overall appearance of the resort and also to the rooms are needed. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. We were touring colleges, so we weren't in the unit all that much. The location is great and the office staff is great. The units are very old outdated and in horrible shape. There is no towels available by the hot tub/pool. No shampoo or conditioner provided which I wished I had known. The bathtub wouldn't drain. Called office and they sent someone but they couldn't fit it. They offered us to shower in a different unit. The 1st one they sent us to the piece to turn from tub to shower was broken, so basically had no choice but to take a bath which we didn't want. The next day they sent us to a different unit and that shower didn't drain either. Again, location is great other then that it is in rough shape.

First off we had to check with three different buildings before we could actually find the proper check-in office for the hotel. Secondly the door was falling off of the closet when we went in the room, the toilet did not work so we had to get maintenance there to fix that, all of the interior was rusted and poorly maintained and lastly the air conditioner did not work properly. This was a very disappointing experience and I will never come back to the yachtsman again.

The property bosted a balcony in every room but what they called a balcony was a 9 inch ledge outside the sliding glass doors there wasnt even enough room for a grown adult or young adult to even stand there.also. The staff wasnt freindly they werent rude either just not friendly. I wasnt impressed

As far as the balcony situation, when you call the property, we are quick to let you know that our balconies are stand on only, we have try to get the online sites can't always fix their wording. The hotel itself was amazing the only thing that held me back from 5 starts is the balcony was just a walk out ledge too small to put a chair on it and sip my morning coffee and watch the son come up. The bed was super comfortable, hard to find!

The 11th floor room we were given provided us with a nice view of the ocean. There was very little wait time for the elevator. The room rate for our February stay was very reasonable. What I thought would be an inconvenient was the parking but it turned out to be very nice having a patrolled lot. It was very secure! Wayne h .

Affordable but deceiving
Location was great- the best value around. However, the room could have used some upgrades.. but, if you like the 70s vibe and a really hard mattress.. then.. perfect! Please do your research before booking here.

The first room was extremely hot, had a major leak, run down. They did move us the 2nd night room was better but had strong fiah like smell but left patio door opened and it took care of smell. Was locked out of room for about 30 mins due to keys not working. Maintenance had fo change out lock. Over all was not a good experience. The managers were nice but just to much wrong.
