The hotel definitely needs a refurbishment. Breakfast was just bread and muffins, although the coffee was appreciated. Only one elevator was working and took a very long time to get up and down. Staff very friendly.

The hotel breakfast was very bare-bones, which we weren’t expecting. It also looked like they had recently completed renovations but forgotten some aspects. The AC unfortunately didn’t truly work the two nights we were there. The location was amazing in relation to MSG and the subway. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They had toiletries in the room and toothpaste on request which was helpful when planning my carry on.

Room looks a lot nice in photos. Great location in the Flower District, front staff were incredible friendly. Breakfast is okay, mainly fruit, pastries and yogurt - no hot breakfast. Unfortunately, I had my wedding rings stolen from our room. I forgot to put them on, left them on the desk and they are just gone. Filed a complaint and was never called back.

The staff were friendly and helpful from arrival to checkout. The location was perfect for a long weekend stay, close to the subway stations, lots of restaurants + bars, and felt safe at all hours. There is a taqueria on the same block and their tacos are tortas are delicious! There were a few small imperfections in the room (a chip out of the wardrobe, the mini fridge door opened awkwardly), but nothing that affected our stay. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay

The housekeeping staff was wonderful whenever we needed new towels. The outlets and tv weren’t working in our room because they were replacing them. Needed a little bit of some maintenance on the upkeep.

The hotel is clean and efficient. Its breakfast menu is limited but sufficient; croissants, yogurt, fruit, coffee & tea. If it had a swimming pool I would rate it even higher. It's very nice to come out in the morning when the flower shops up and down the street have put their plants out.

Loved the location and the staff was great. The property was in need of a refresh - tile in the shower was old, the elevator door was held together by duct tape, the towels were frayed and overall, it was just tired looking. The fitness area was being renovated which we were unaware of when we booked, which was disappointing.

Staff was wonderful, no question. It was details in the room and overall facility that caused issues. The bathroom shower design meant that the bathroom floor was always wet. The one floor mat left by housekeeping was not enough to keep up. Also, the single-lever shower controller was not accurate. It took me a few days to realize that HOT was on the near side of the turn, and not the far side as indicated on the plate. I just thought they had no hot water. Finally, they indicated on the website the existence of a Fitness Studio, but upon arrival I understood that it was under construction. I would have not packed for it had I known.

I loved the location of this hotel, the staff was friendly, the room was very clean and was cleaned daily. They were so great to was able to check in at 1:00. The only reason why I gave 4 stars was that because of the lack of transparency. It was advertised the property with a restaurant rooftop and a gym and they were both under construction. I was looking forward to spending my evenings at the rooftop. Other wise everything was great. I will stay again, hopefully next time the amenities will be available.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Hayden , its was a nice hotel good enough for a good night sleep after walking 20k steps a day. The hotel is close to the subway station and Madison square garden it was easy to get around. Will book again in the future

The room was clean but paint needs touch up. Made it feel dingy. Property was clean. Breakfast was plain. Try better coffee & more hot breakfast but the complimentary is always a plus for something light and quick. Staff was nice and helpful. Wish the ice machine wasn’t in the basement and there’s no doors on the shower. Other than small nuances the stay was great. Good location.

The location was very convenient. It's in the lovely "flower market" area, and stepping out each morning to the beautiful flowers was really nice! One of the main subway lines has a station about a 5 minute walk. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to drop off my luggage well before check-in, and also at the end of my stay until I was done with my business in the city. The breakfast is continental style: pastries, fruit, coffee / tea.
