The room was so small that I had no place to open my suitcase except the bed. The property was very good about changing me to another room that was slightly bigger. I had a question about the bill. I believe I was double charged for the damage fee ($200 x 2) It's been over 10 days and I have not received anything back. There is no continental breakfast per se. There's just a toaster, bread, bagels, a coffee machine and creamer packets. There's no body lotion.
Or conditioner supplied in the rooms. When I asked for fresh milk and fruit, I was told, what do I expect from a one star hotel? (that charges the same as a 4 star hotel nearby). And this so called Complimentary breakfast is over at 9.00 a m. Same answer when I asked for bathroom amenities. The location is on the corner of Canal and Lafayette streets, which means that if there is a traffic backup, there's constant honking. Especially from around four o'clock onwards. They might not supply you with milk for your coffee, but they do supply ear plugs, despite the fact that they advertised the hotel as being quiet. To its credit, I did not see any insects.
