"The reviews on this property did not disappoint. It was clean. The customer service was polite and very helpful. The location to UT and Turkey Creek shopping and restaurants were very convenient. The Fitness Center was equipped with what you need. They served a limited breakfast but it was tasty and enough to be filling…for free. It’s tucked away behind a Shell gas station so you have to cut across their parking lot or go through the Comfort Inn parking lot. That was a little awkward. But, I would book there again when in town."

"This hotel was in the heart of downtown Knoxville and we loved his location. So close to the market Square with lots of shops, restaurants, and even a farmers market on the weekend. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had when traveling. It was delicious and offered what we needed on a Paleo diet. The staff at the desk were helpful and the ladies serving the breakfast meal were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was very large and even though we expected a king size bed, we had two large queens with a good size sitting area. We appreciated the room service that was available if we needed/wanted it. Having the lounge on the roof was an unexpected treat— they did not have great variety of food available, but they had an amazing view of the city!! The hotel’s location was perfect for us—-less than half a mile from the convention center, and it was a great way to get in a little bit of exercise to and from our meetings. We also walked down to the river to take a lunch cruise—so convenient. We very much recommend this hotel and hope to find more like it!"

"Great stay! Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, room was clean, and the location was good. Rooms are small, by design, but plenty of room for 2 people staying two nights. The mini-fridge was a welcome surprise also. We will definitely stay here again and we will consider Tru hotel rooms wherever we travel."

"The room was clean. The shower had an old rag on the shower head and what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling in the shower stall. The air was incredible. The TV was nice as was the bed."
