“This inn is lovely. The outdoor patio is beautiful. The room, immaculate and the beds comfy. Our shower in the bath was spacious. Plenty of towels and there are even robes if you like. Had a drink in the bar. The whole place is just wonderful. We didn't eat there because we wanted to go to Finz in Salem, but a look at the menu says the food is varied and delicious.”

“The staff were very helpful as I am somewhat handicapped and needed assistance with our luggage. Ipswich is a very interesting historic town and the cafe at the Inn served excellent food.”

“I would 100% come back to this place. Our suite was absolutely amazing, and very clean. It is spacious, has a very big and cool shower, has great ac and giant tv, plenty of light, has a safe, and the biggest, most comfortable bed I have ever laid on. The pillows aren’t as comfortable as the bed, and the breakfast is very limited, but there is plenty of breakfast/brunch places in walking distance, so it was not a big deal. Also, you may have to pay for parking! But, I 1000% recommend staying...

“Super quaint, peaceful, idyllic, historic Inn! Awesome location right in the middle of the Marblehead Historic District. We walked less than 5 min to dinner at The Landing and then to drinks at Maddie’s Sail Loft. Highly recommend! ”

“The Silsbee Suite was lovely! Its def just for 1 or 2 ppl even though the kitchen is huge there is only 1 queen bed and a couch. You also habe acess to your own private patio but we were out all day and didnt really utilize that. This property is in walkimg distance to everything you need to get to and see in Salem. It is an old house and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even the other guests if they sneeze or laugh so just be aware of that. I would def stay again ”
