“Perfect location and the house is extremely well decorated. I was only there for Halloween event in Fernandina Beach so I did not spend much time at the B&B just to sleep. Even with the AC off, I could’ve used an extra blanket though it was a bit chilly.”

“Great location, great helpful staff.”

“I highly recommend this staycation. I was greeted by the owner and given a historic tour of the property . The facility was very clean and cozy, no orders or smells. I especially love the porch with the rocking chairs. It close at the historic district with restaurants for breakfast within walking distance. “Great hotel with authentic character and charm. This is a historical property so don't expect the latest amenities, but the staff were very friendly and served a great breakfast. I look forward to staying at the Spencer House again.”

“The hibiscus room was not as expected due to no views and not in main hotel. Staff was nice and accommodating. I would stay in the main hotel on our next trip if I went there again. Parking was accessible.”

“Room was excellent. We stayed in the Sail Away room. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was home made and really good.”

“Wonderful stay. Michelle was a fantastic hostess. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated. Would love to return.”

“Very close to historic district! We were able to park our truck at the inn and walk everywhere. Staff was very friendly. Very clean and peaceful. In the living room of the main house by the couch, there is a binder that is labeled history, I suggest reading that.”

“Property was misrepresented in pictures. Room was tiny, property under renovation.. ., old and weathered. Breakfast served about 5 long blocks away. No help from staff for oversight last day. Needed to carry luggage downstairs. Was sorely disappointed with both Expedia and property owners. Expedia offered no help with any kind of compensation.”

“We loved our stay at the Addison. There were so many little personal touches; happy hour, bathroom amenities, etc. the property itself is gorgeous and the staff couldn’t have been more wonderful. The breakfast is included and was delicious. We are already planning our return visit, as well as looking into other properties!”
