"This hotel is really interesting because it’s a very old (1926) YMCA so has a HUGE , really nice indoor pool for a hotel- and hot tub and spa amenities. The museum is also very interesting. The huge problem with my stay was lack of staff. Restaurant: closed for table service, had to order at the bar, and it took three selections from the menu until I was not met with “I’m sorry we’re out of that”. (And not a Big menu to begin with). Then in the morning, same thing at the cafe , out of many items, payment machine not working etc. the staff that were there were super nice and doing there best to be very helpful, but not a great experience"

"The desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Just don't get a room by the elevator. You'll hear it going up and down constantly. It is a great place if you're seeing a show at the Pageant. A head's up if want to eat after a show. Most places close or stop serving food at 10:00. I thought that was odd for a Friday night. Even the hotel bar stopped serving food at 10. My husband finally find a little place around the corner for a sandwich."

"We were traveling with 2 kids. The pool was awesome-salt, I believe. They even had pool noodles! The breakfast was like a restaurant; buffet and made to order, all included. Parking in the ramp was literally in the back of the building with a hallway into the hotel, super easy. Do eat or bring food back bc delivery and availability in the area was limited. 3 cheeseburger baskets was $76 with fees. Otherwise, easy to get to the zoo and other attractions."
