“View from balcony and evening fire with s'mores was excellent. Room 108 was dated with musky smell. Bed mattress was a 1*. Spent the night before travel to the island and location was good.”

“Honestly, I was here for the reasonable rate. My expectations were low. BUT- if I were near Grayling again, I would go out of my way to stay here. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, soft sheets, QUIET! Beautifully renovated but still feels like a vintage time capsule 1940s motor court.”

“Very clean well maintained vintage/historic motel (dating back to 50s/60s as I understand it). My parents stayed here on a vacation in mid 60s. It is close to beach park with great views of macinac island and bridge and convenient location for local restaurants and island ferries.”

“nice hotel was just what i needed for an out of town trip. It could have been a bit cleaner and more maintained but the kindness and exceptional service of the staff made up for that for me!!”

“Cute renovated motel rooms. There was a vintage Magic Chef cookstove that had working burners, there were pots and dishes so we could cook our corn on the cob dinner. Quiet, safe location. Only small thing is that there is a window air conditioner, so if you sleep in the bed by the window then it blows all night right on or over you. If the weather is cooler, this would not be relevant. Bathroom is small but everything works including the shower, good water pressure. Great for an overnight...

“The room was very clean, staff is friendly, outdoor pool clean, the landscaping is pretty and outdoor setting was nice. You can walk downtown and you are across from the beach. It was a perfect place for us to stay.”
