“The place is awesome. This is my second stay. The upstairs bar and view is second to nothing. I got a late check out and they held my bags for the day after was nice. More staffing to run the downstairs bar and there was no lunch or dinner one day with no staff. For the price an airport shuttle would be nice as Uber is almost not a thing in TC. ”

“The owner was very nice and helpful in suggesting where to eat in the area. Thanks to him I had a delicious dinner and a nice walk at a beach in Manistee. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, big and cozy. The area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. After all, you’re inside a national forest. ”

“Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. ”
