"Excellent location, wonderful amenities and lovely staff. We went there with our 5 year old kids and had a wonderful time. The rooms are very well equipped and accompanied with a porch that has wonderful views. I only wish they had microwave in the rooms but the staff was kind to get our milk heated for the kids. Loved the place and will certainly be our go to spot when we visit La Fortuna again. "

"Very nice property and nice staff. Great location near town yet in the woods with sloths and monkeys often seen near rooms. Food was a bit uneven - great breakfast but dinner at the casual dining spot near reception was just ok. We did not try the main restaurant for dinner. "

"We loved the pools! Our girls had a great time on the water slides and we really liked how family friendly it is. Rooms are a bit dated but fine. Initially the property feels too big and spread out but after we got the lay of the land, we really liked it. We explored the lake by the lookout and it was lovely! The men renting kayaks and paddle boards were very sweet and we enjoyed talking to them and hearing about the history of Los Lagos. "

"This was our second stay at the Hotel Mountain Paradise, and it was just as good as we remembered! The two-bedroom villa is spacious and a great way to relax for a family of 5. We loved the plunge pool and views and enjoyed breakfast. Great location, close to town and a lot of the activities we wanted to try. It was much busier the second time round and while the main pool is lovely and warm, more chairs are needed. When we tried to visit all chairs were occupied and we had to leave our towel and belongings on a nearby rock. "

"Beautiful hotel. The hot springs were awesome! These were the only hot springs we visited in the area. I had two kids (13 and 16) and they loved all the pools and water slides. Yes, the water slides are fast but if you go down the correct way it's fine. I would recommend this place for families with kids. Adults only might want to stay elsewhere as there are a lot of kids at this hotel. The hotel also lets in a lot of people visiting on only a day pass. The springs never seemed crowded but it's hard to find a lounge chair if you want one. "
