" This is the best accommodation in Tasmania, hands down! Not only the rooms are so pristinely clean that it would satisfy the most hardcore germaphobe, but the staff are unbelievably kind and compassionate. If more people were like David and Helen, the world would be a better place! We keep coming back to stay at the Comfort Inn every time we are traveling, and the check in/out process could not be made easier, no matter what time we arrive or leave. The team at the Inn anticipate every concern and alleviate all issues with utmost empathy and care. I will never forget David's kindness when we left a valuable item in the room, and his consideration in not judging us, but helping us instead with the most compassion I have experienced even from friends or family. "We enjoyed our stay at Strahan Village. We had a lovely room overlooking the water. The room was clean and had what we needed for our short stay. Staff were friendly. We would have ranked higher however there smelt like there were plumbing issues which needs attending to on the way to the room. "

"What a lovely location and quiet place to stay after a day in Cradle mountain NP. So close you can go in the park early before shuttle starts. There are few hotels available so we picked this one and are not disappointed. Price is on a high side but expected. Dinner need reservation if you want to be in the dining room but food is good. Breakfast buffet is superb with choices of both hot and cold. Unusual to have balsamic stir fry spinach and mushroom in addition to the usual. Nice to have Chia pudding and 2 types of yogurt and fresh fruits. The free laundry with detergents at the counter is unexpected and a plus. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers so you need to get in the queue and start asap when you get in. Overall very happy with the place. "

"My room was super clean and surrounded by wildlife. I also booked a treatment at the Waldheim spa as well as two times the private sanctuary (at it was just stunning). The crew over there was so so nice. Especially Senna who gave me lots of nice recommendations about the area and north east of tassie. A wonderful and absolutely unexpected breathtaking stay! I also loved that you can spot platypuses in the lake at the lodge. "
