"Bombarded with WhatsApp messages to complete a pre-check in form, including credit card for incidental expenses and photo ID, yet when arrived none of this seemed to be on the system and the pre-approved card was of a type not accepted. Attempt to up-sell you early check in etc at every opportunity. Check-in strictly restricted until 3pm, but you can only leave luggage at the hotel if arriving earlier if you’re prepared to pay a charge of £10/item - same with leaving after check out. Room was in a grimy, yet-to-be refurbished part of the building. Hairs in bathroom. No iron in room. "

"Teeny, tiny rooms. Good location. Clean and with basic amenities. There was a free cheese and wine thing, which surprised me."

Location was perfect - close to British Museum, two subway stations, numerous bus stops. Lovely park nearby."
