I was not happy when I made the reservation. I was not told that the pool and hot tub were closed and I was not told that the elevator was non-functional. I am not happy about that. We paid a little lower $300 for 2 days and we thought we were gonna have a pool and a hot tub to enjoy.

The hotel even sent a confirmation to you on April 30th letting you know about the amenities that were closed. This gave you an ample amount of time to decide to cancel the booking or not.

The staff are awesome, from the time I called to inquire about a pet unit and up into the time i left. Very friendly and helpful. I got the king jacuzzi room. It was excellent and had a back patio at ground level. Excellent for bringing your pet. The price was good for what I received. The place was clean.

I chose this hotel, because I wanted to be right on the beach and was hoping for a beachfront view. The description on the website upon booking made it sound like there was an ocean view I was willing to pay the extra money for that specific reason and the jetted tub was, a great bonus I arrived, fairly late in the evening, and was excited just to enjoy the ocean view and the jetted tub. After a very long trip. Upon my arrival, I found out from the not so friendly night staff worker that no pets were allowed on the upper floors and the “view“ was of the dunes… Venturing into find my room. I noticed that the hallway was very unkempt, and was saddened to see that the room was not much better. There was hair clumps in the bath tub, and the counters were dirty. The lady had told me that the Jets for the jetted tub could not be on after 10 PM because of the noise and vibration. After having to clean the jetted tub myself, I didn’t have much time to enjoy it. It was nice to be able to at least hear the ocean and be very close in the morning. The breakfast was very subpar, but they did have a lot of options. The room was FREEZING. The temp was set at 62 degrees when I came in. The last thing I will note is that the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was stiff, and the linens were very starchy and uncomfortable. Overall, I do wish I would’ve chosen somewhere else to go especially considering the much higher price I paid, hoping for a view, and jetted tub, and a clean room.

My girlfriend and I came as just a short weekend trip. The hotel itself was very nice and quiet, it made for a nice relaxing weekend. Only downside, and we knew this going, is the pool and hot tub was out of order and has been for a while. It would have been nice to soak in the hot tub after hiking and walking the beautiful beaches and trails around the hotel. Other than that the stay was very nice and I'm sure we'll be back again.

This place was great! Right on the beach! It shows its age here and there but the updgrades they have done are really nice. Overall we would stay here again no problem.........except......if you are a light sleeper like my husband and I, book a top floor room! A 5 am wake up by someone pacing and slamming their front door was not on our itinerary. Sound proofing between floors was not very good. But it will not stop us from coming back.

My wife and I used to come here often when it was owned by Best Western. It wasn't perfect but it was a nice, cozy spot for us to make memories in. When Best Western was no longer affiliated, we were glad at least it was still kept up and running. I understand hard times, However, for being charged almost 200 bucks a night you'd expect some things to improve to some degree The elevator has been broken for almost a year now. That tells me there is no effort and no money being put in to fixing it. Wifi is gone. Receptionist said they were trying out a new provider, "there should be no password for it". There is no network to connect to. No wifi. We tried to tell receptionist, she told us to restart our devices, then abruptly hung up. Most TV channels are locked behind direct TV pay wall. So limited TV selection. Appliances are out dated and fridge isn't even cold. You can hear everyone around you, their voices, their footsteps, their doors, drawers. I like to think we're regulars. But this will be our last time staying here as we have come up at least 5-7 times within the last 12 months and these issues have not been getting better, they have gotten worse. (Elevator broken every trip up here) This hotel feels like a scam and we will be taking our business elsewhere until we get affirmative change. I encourage everyone to stop wasting your money here as it's going into pocket books not to the business.

The only good place about this place is the location to the beach. Our room was disgusting! The wifi didn't work. We were told not to sit on the couch. They didn't even post that their pool was closed on the website or online. Their elevator was broken. The fireplace turns off after 10 minutes. Above the fireplace they have a carbon monoxide posting. Made us feel like the fireplace wasn't installed correctly. They give you 4 small square pillows to sleep with. The fridge was not cold. There were no soaps in our room. There were several rooms that were padlocks shut. Creepy. This place is run down. For 170.00 a night, you shouldn't have this experience. The fromt desk person was nog very presentable. Who from this hotel is going to do anything or reach out for our terrible experience?

However, all websites that we are partnered with show that our swimming pool area is closed. We also send a detailed confirmation going over the hotel amenities that are not available as well. As for the padlocks on the doors, we only have one room like that, which is going through more renovations. The carbon monoxide units are required by law. Washington State law (RCW 19.27.530) requires carbon monoxide alarms to be installed in new residences. As of January 1, 2013, carbon monoxide alarms are required in existing apartments, condominiums, hotels, motels, and single-family residences, with some exceptions. One of our members of management will reach out to you, to discuss your stay.

Unfortunately Expedia didn’t highlight that the room I was booking was not dog friendly. Thankfully the staff was able to get me another room but in summer I don’t know that that would be a possibility. Dog friendly rooms don’t have an ocean view and are only on the first floor but we loved the room and the ability to easily walk out through the sliding door when the dogs needed a break.

Friendly staff, overall property was clean however, our room had no shampoo, conditioner, and the shower faucet was loose and couldnt turn it to the hot side. In addition, the day we reserved the room the pool and the elevator was out of service.

Overall, good property, decent continental breakfast, and good service. However, room we stayed in had some debris in some drawers (dust, sand, etc.), the bathtub drain plug was dysfunctional and would not seal in the water, and the fireplace did not work. Also, sliding door to the porch was difficult to open and close.

Elevator, pool, and hot tub all out of order but was not disclosed at time of booking. Fire system and pool being worked on, lots of unpainted areas and carpet unraveling. Waited for 15 min before staff member showed at front desk, initially given wrong room number and key, confirmed multiple times a pack and play was available for child and was told they didn’t know where one was upon check in (but did find one somewhere). No extra linens in room for bed or pack and play, way too many towels! Pretty sure toiletry lotion was used as it wasn’t even half full. Sticky areas on carpet, food on kitchenette counter, my child and I came home with multiple bug bites. Very convenient location and the room besides the above was good, loved the corner views.
