It was right on the beach but the room, beds and cleanliness were less than desirable. There are a lot of older hotels in this area that I have stayed at but this one is in the most need of being redone.

There was no restaurant on-site as they claimed. It has been closed since 2019. We had no hot water, no phone in the room, hair dryers didn't work. Dirty sheets and dishes were outside our room when we got there. Whole hallway had several piles like that. Carpets were dirty. Bathroom sink and shower were very slow draining. Receptionists were very nice and apologized as the hotel is not responding to requests from local management.

There were no pool towels available for the dozens of patrons using the hotel pool. My family of 5 had to share 1 towel. They didn’t even have regular towels to use either. Not to mention the attached restaurant was closed so breakfast wasn’t offered. It didn’t really feel worth the cost unfortunately. But besides that it was a decent stay. The hotel could definitely use a little renovating. Especially for how much they are charging.

We absolutely love the Shilo Inn and where it’s located. However whomever is owner/manager needs to update the rooms and building over all. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Security doors not working. Restaurant not being open. Update update update it please to make it worth the money we are charged.

Internet and property advertises restaurant and lounge at hotel. It’s been closed since Covid. I asked why they still advertise they have a restaurant. Did not get an answer. The hotel room was dirty. Dust built up on the furniture and lamps. They don’t clean your room until you leave. The hot tub was supposed to be white on the inside but was brown. Another amenity for disappointment. I brought my 2 grandkids. I didn’t realize the entire little town was basically closed. Upon further reviewing it sounds like the Quinault Casino is the only hotel that’s been renovated. I sent pictures to my family. They said get a refund and leave. I wouldn’t expect a clean room.

The property is very outdated and in need of repairs. The restaurant and lounge are still closed from Covid ??? But the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

This Shilo Inn property is very old and is showing it. It is definately due for a remodel. The colors, the furniture, the carpet, and the beds are all very old. With all the Airbnbs and other rentals coming in the market it would be sad to see this hotel shut down. Why is the restaurant closed?. Nobody knew. I would like to highly compliment the front desk person who checked us in, Jesse. He was very professional and helpful. I called the front desk around 9pm on Friday night as our neighbor was smoking pot in their room and out in the balcony. Our room was consumed by the smell which started up allergies. He immediately came up to check on the smell and agreed it was very strong on the balcony. He very quickly got us a new room down the hall and brought us a cart so we could move. His quick actions should be commended and his professionalism should be acknowledged. Jesse is an employee that went above and beyond and my sister and I appreciated everything he did for us. Thank you Jesse!!!

The Shilo is convenient, but the price was a little steep for what we walked into. Keycards are unreliable, no towels on the room upon arrival, bathroom had a hairball in the shower, a beer cap in the lounge area, and we had limited hot water at shower time. The North exit door lock was busted so the door is just propped open it get ready to walk. The staff was nice enough, but phones to get ahold of them were also unreliable. The steam room is phenomenal, sauna works great, hot tub was hot pool was perfect temperature, and they were checking chemicals frequently. This is a pet friendly hotel which is also very much appreciated, but if your pet is needy, or noisy check with the rules before you book, it could get pricey real quick. The outside would be a pressure washer’s dream job. There seems to be an endless supply of handyman jobs to keep someone busy, but it appears to not have a handyman.

This place is way overdue for a remodel. The furniture in the room was old, broken and worn. There were no towels in the bathroom, however, it was clean. Nice view of the ocean but the windows were so dirty you could hardly see through them. Also, the restaurant and lounge have been closed since 2019, but it wasn’t mentioned on the Expedia website. We got a text message about it after we booked a non refundable room.

Shilo Inn is in a great location located next to the entrance to the beach. The staff is excellent and very helpful, but the property is in need of many updates. Our room as very quiet and had a great view. The mattress in our bed was soft and lumpy. The furniture was very worn and in need of replacement. The Restaurant is no longer there.

Check in was fine, room was okay, not clean tho, dusty and the pull out couch looked like it was 80 years old and it was covered in hair, we opened it and it was broken so we closed it right back up and ended up sharing beds... there was no linens for the sofa either... stayed 4 days and no room cleaning happened, no towels exchanged, had to reuse... the restaurant is closed so no breakfast or any food there... for the amount of money I expected a lot more than what we got....

We didn’t know the Restaurant would not be open. There was no complementary coffee in the lobby. Our room was smelly when we got in however we left the door open and it cleared up. We were told dogs were allowed only on the first floor however our couch was covered in dog hair. We flipped the cushions. We didn’t make a complaint because we were there for a convention and knew we wouldn’t be in the room except to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend staying there if you plan on lounging in your hotel room. Also my wife bought a bag of chips from the vending machine and they expired in December of last year.

Went in prepared for horrible conditions after reading many other reviews. While the property does greatly need an update, it was not dirty or unkept. Disappointed there wasn't a restaurant and the noise from the people above us was very loud. The check in was smooth and my request for more towels was handled quickly. Was a much better experience than I thought we would have. .
