“The hotel was nice and clean, but the room did have an odor.”

“I didn’t like breakfast very much. It was mostly muffins , scones and bagels. One day we had no protein. It was a good breakfast in the past with bacon and eggs. I also don’t like that you can only get ice from an attendant that leaves for the day at 5pm. If you arrive after 5 you can’t get ice until the next morning when the attendant returns, a long time to wait. I love that it’s convenient to everything and has a beach access across the street.”

“We had a wonderful weekend experience. Our cabin was big enough for us, the kids, and the grandparents. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for us. The front desk staff were friendly and made the check-in process smooth. Checkout was even easier. We were really pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and the space. Will be back for sure!”

“The room was inviting, clean and smelled great. There was plenty of extra room for storage. We loved the private balcony that allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous view of the ocean. Staff were accessible if needed. The indoor pool and hot tub is also great. Our stay was enjoyable and super affordable. We plan to stay here again soon!”

“It was a mixed bag in room 483. Pros: Very clean. Close to the beach. Cute decor. In-room coffee. Strong water pressure. Cons: Way strong chemical cleaner smell gave me a sinus headache, When I turned the heater on past 72 an acrid burnt smell filled the room. The wall closest to the bathroom had touchup paint that didn’t match the original wall color.”

“Great to stay”

“looks a little rough on the outside but very cute and clean inside! AC was great and walkable to the beach!”

“Complimentary wine and cheese 3-5pm. Nice place. Staff is very friendly.”

“LOVE the affordability of this property. No frills. Not for anyone expecting more. Clean enough. Love the keypad access so no worry carrying any key. Walking distance to downtown and Roanoke Island (if fit enough).”

“Was a great place to stay for the beach. Good sized room and comfortable bed. Only issue was the shower was a little small and I had to stand on the corner for the water to reach me.”

“Staff and owners were very welcoming. We accidentally left a few items, which they offered to mail to us. Our kids loved the koi pond.”

“A small but very clean and well maintained motel. Comfortable beds and quiet HVAC. Close to casual food options.”
