“I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All my questions were answered very pleasantly. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay. It was easy to get to and very convienent being in the middle of Great Barrington. The breakfast was nice also. I would stay there again.”

“Shaker Inn is a comfortable cozy inn in the village of West Stockbridge. Check in was easy, room was comfortable, clean, grounds were well-maintained and lovely. Village of West Stockbridge was only a couple of blocks away. We were able to walk to restaurant for dinner. Staff were easily available and helpful.”

“We love the Bershire Mountain Lodge. We've stayed here five other times but this time we do have a few very minor negatives. 1) The cabinet door under the kitchenette sink had a loose hinge. We messaged the staff and requested that they wait until after we checked out to repair the hinge. We hope the hinge was repaired before the next guest checked in. 2) The toilet flush handle was slightly cracked but still functional. “Wonderful hidden gem of a little hotel. Right on lake laurel we had a beautiful lake view. Rooms were very clean. Decent breakfast. Well Located and close to Lee downtown main st, the Lennox Main Street and Stockbridge as well. Looking forward to returning”

“The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

“This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure.”

“We had a late arrival, which worked out with self checkout. Left the next morning after 9am, didn't see a single staff member during our whole stay, Was a bit of a challenge getting luggage up to the top floor without an elevator but we probably should have realized that when we booked. Nice property, nice big room with separate area for visiting. TV channel choices, which included streaming services, was excellent. Overall a good experience, just didn't see anyone there.”
