"Had a (small) room but with a balcony on the front. Unfortunately our neighbors smoked (cigs and weed) so at those times we had to close the balcony doors. I wanted to stay at the hotel because of its history, name and art deco decor. For $500 a night it was okay, nothing extraordinary or special. Wish the room would have been a little more spacious for the price paid. The staff was friendly and helpful. It did surprise me that the hotel did not offer the eco friendly option of not changing the towels. For just a two night stay we would have preferred to reuse our towels."

"Fantastic hotel. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING, as was our lunch on day 1. The rooftop bar was a great vibe for a quick drink before heading out, and reasonably priced. We had the accessible room as my husband is a wheelchair user and there was plenty of space in both the room and the bathroom to navigate using his wheelchair. Bed was super comfy. Usually struggle to sleep well on our first night in a hotel bed, but high quality pillows and a window that opened meant a great nights sleep The hotel is ideally placed to get around all the sights and the concierge team were really helpful in suggesting pls es to eat."

"Very close to the central train station, this was a very walkable hub for our trip. It’s outside of the major touristy areas, so it’s still very quiet at night. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs and steam rooms for guests. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. A great hotel for those staying in Amsterdam"

"Great location right on the canal, with helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of options. The bar doesn't stay open very late, but there are many places nearby. We were told a day ahead that our bed request couldn't be accommodated, which we thought probably meant a standard/double instead of king or queen. What we got were little twins that reminded me of my childhood bedroom. Which were comfortable but not ideal as a couple. Still, would stay here again based on everything else."
