“Everything is great, except for a strong wind. It is very windy in Wellington, so you can hear a quite big sound at night.”

“Gorgeous retro style rooms, very comfy bed, wonderful staff & close to Te Papa Museum and other attractions. Right in Oriental Bay where you can walk for miles around the waterfront of you want. Would definitely stay here again.”

“I booked a King room 7 months in advance and fully paid through expedia. I didn't get the room I booked and when asked why I was told the hotel was fully booked and that I had booked a wheelchair access room, which I hadn't. The staff had no real solution and kept saying I had booked the wrong room. They then admitted it was an error between their system and Expedia. An offer of a complemntay bottle of wine or at the very least an apology would have gone a long way. Neither were forthcoming....

“You couldn’t ask for a better location, right in the heart of Wellington on Cuba Street, with tons of restaurants, bars, clubs, museums and public transit all within easy walking distance. The hotel has a wonderfully eclectic personality, with retro, bohemian and artsy décor throughout the lobby, restaurant and guest rooms. It’s definitely not your typical cookie-cutter hotel! My room was perfect for a solo traveller, although it would be a little tight for two people with luggage. The bed was...

“We stayed at one-bedroom apartment for two nights. The location was a bit away from the city center, but it was nearby the ocean drive and Mount Victoria, which has a nice lookout. The free wifi had data limit to 200MB. The hairdryer was old, and intermittently shut down during use. The manager was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a decent stay.”
